  • Covered Bridge South of Taylorsville

    A lost covered bridge existed at one time just south of Taylorsville in Spencer County Kentucky. The bridge crossed the Salt River east of where the river confluenced with Brashears Creek. The bridge was built in 1833. Below is a close-up of Taylorsville as it appeared on an 1862 map;
