This map was commisioned by Buell,  the Commander of The Ohio Division of the Federal Army. His maps are considered to be the most accurate of their time.

Kings Mill Covered Bridge

Kings Mill Covered Bridge crossed the Dix River, 3 1/2 miles east of Burgin Kentucky on the old Burgin- Buena Vista Turnpike. The US Geological water table survey of 1911, lists this lost covered bridge as near the Geological Station. Kennedy's Mill was north of the bridge.
